Yuma

The Lost Voices of Yemeni Women’s Songs

Embark on a mesmerizing musical journey that revives an ancient and rare feminine tradition. YUMA is more than a concert - it is a groundbreaking project dedicated to the songs of Jewish women in Yemen. Led by soprano Shani Oshri, this powerful performance blends ancient melodies with a contemporary classical ensemble of string quartet and percussion. Once sung only in private spaces, these songs now take center stage, reclaiming the voices of women who carried wisdom, strength, and song through generations.

Inner Voice

A Musical Journey Across Traditions

A rare meeting of Western classical artistry and Jewish musical heritage, Inner Voice weaves opera arias, Jewish liturgical pieces, and traditional songs from Yemen, Ladino culture, and Eastern Europe into a single, intimate performance.

With the guitarist Yuval Vilner, and multi-instrumentalist Tayfun Guttstadt reimagine operatic works with new accompaniment - classical guitar and instruments such as ney, oud, lavta, and baglama. Alongside these, audiences encounter rare Yemenite women’s songs preserved in oral tradition, Ladino romances, Yiddish ballads, Persian melodies, and folk music of the Middle East and Europe.

Inner Voice invites audiences into a chamber - like setting where East meets West in unexpected harmony. Through the delicate interplay of voice and instruments, familiar works reveal new colors and forgotten songs find new life.

Orshina

A Journey Across Cultures and Time

A rare fusion of Western classical music and Jewish-Mizrahi traditions, ORSHINA erases the boundaries between East and West. This captivating performance intertwines operatic and Baroque masterpieces with Yemeni women’s songs, Ladino hymns, and Persian melodies, creating a seamless dialogue between worlds.
Led by soprano Shani Oshri, ORSHINA brings together three extraordinary musicians who uncover unexpected connections between centuries-old traditions and classical influences. Each piece is introduced with a short explanation, offering deeper insight into its cultural roots. The result is an intimate and profound musical journey that feels both deeply traditional and strikingly fresh.

Yafe Nof

The Forgotten Sephardic Piyyutim

A rare collaboration between award-winning composer and guitarist Daniel Akiva and soprano Shani Oshri, Yafe Nof revives a Sephardic piyyut tradition never before documented.
Blending fresh interpretation with authenticity, it follows the Jewish annual cycle—from Shabbat hymns to Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Shavuot—drawing from Psalms, Spain’s Golden Age poetry, and Arabic-Jewish traditions.
Without this project, many of these piyyutim would have vanished without a trace. Yafe Nof marks the first-ever performance and recording of this rare musical heritage, a historic step in preserving Jewish culture.
